Tim Harrison is an award winning, master level costumer and fabricator who first dove in to the prop and costume scene in August 2012 when he decided to make a pair of steampunk blasters for a Halloween costume. From then on, there was no turning back. Always being a tinkerer, that quick venture in to prop making strengthened his spark for creating and bringing fictional items and characters to life. After a few years in the steampunk scene, he decided to branch out in 2016 by entering in to the Crown Championships at C2e2 and the placed. Since then he’s been expanding and improving his skill set. Practical effects, sculpting, casting, foam-smithing, leatherworking, sewing and metal work are just some of the skill he’s brought to the table when starting his commission business, Harrison Designs and Concepts, or HDC, in 2017. After taking some time to develop his business, he hopes to further expand his convention presence. 2018 is bringing many great projects, workshops, convention appearances, and more!
